Robin Flemming, CAP,has more than 30 years’ experience in fundraising in higher education and independent schools and in health care. She has skills both as a fundraising generalist and as a specialist in capital campaigns, annual fund, planned giving, and development office start up.
During her career, Robin led $40 million capital campaigns at Good Shepherd Rehabilitation Hospital and at Lehigh Valley Hospital, where she served as Director of the Capital Campaign and Major Gifts. She was Executive Director of the Foundation of Muhlenberg Hospital, launching that development operation. Most recently, Flemming was Director of Annual Fund at Moravian Academy in Bethlehem Pennsylvania. Earlier, she was on the Advancement staff at Lehigh University where she oversaw advancement communications, stewardship, advancement services, and events, and also worked in alumni relations.
Flemming is completing her second period of service on the board of the Eastern Pennsylvania Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals, where she was board President in the 1990’s. She has served on a variety of community boards and is currently on the development committee of Meals on Wheels of the Lehigh Valley.
Flemming earned the Master of a Public Administration degree from Lehigh University, a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, and an associate’s degree from Northampton Community College. She holds the Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy designation, CAP, from the American College.
