Mike has recently retired from his role as the President & CEO of the Council for Health and Human Service Ministries, UCC (CHHSM) where he served for just over 17 years. Previously he was an Associate Vice President and financial advisor for Morgan Stanley for 14 years. Prior to that, Mike held a number of entrepreneurial positions in the Cleveland area where he is a lifelong resident.

Mike has led board retreats, strategic plans, served as a faculty member for leadership institutes and has significant experience in fund raising, major gift solicitation, special event management, case statement development, and feasibility studies. He is a founding member of the Amistad Chapel United Church of Christ, a graduate of Leadership Cleveland, a Diakonal Minister with CHHSM, and a recipient of numerous local awards for his success in special event management and gift procurement. Mike currently serves as a Board member for Uplands Retirement Village in Pleasant Hill, TN and for the Retirement Housing Foundation Charitable Foundation. He is past Board Chair of the United Church Foundation and the Aids Taskforce of Greater Cleveland. Mike has a B.A. in Psychology from Case Western Reserve University and an M.B.A. in Finance from Cleveland State University.
